Support
FuaFlow Vault is built by one person, so your message doesn’t land in a ticket system: it’s read by whoever made the app. Before writing, check the frequently asked questions — the answer may already be here.
Frequently asked questions
What is a vault, and where is it stored?
A vault is a .pvault file that keeps your photos, videos and documents encrypted, with your password or for specific people. It lives on your device, in the Vault tab, and you can take it anywhere: without the right password or key, nobody can open it.
I forgot a vault’s password — can you recover it?
No. The password never leaves your device and we keep no copy, so nobody can open the vault without it — including us. That’s what makes it safe.
How do I add someone to chat with?
In the Profile tab, tap “Add contact” and swap contact cards with the QR code or the link. If you’re on the same Wi-Fi, you’ll also find each other in Chat as nearby devices.
Do we have to be on the same Wi-Fi?
No. On the same Wi-Fi, messages go straight from phone to phone. When you’re apart, the sealed message waits in the relay server’s mailbox and arrives when the other person opens the app (it’s kept for up to 7 days).
What is “Use the relay server”? Can I turn it off?
It’s the mailbox that delivers your messages when your contact isn’t nearby. It only keeps sealed envelopes it can’t open, doesn’t know who sends them, and deletes them once delivered. You can turn it off in Chat; your messages then travel only over the local network. More in the privacy notice.
How does SOS work?
In “Circle & SOS” you choose your emergency contacts. When you send an SOS, the app prepares a text message with your location for them (you press send) and alerts nearby devices running FuaFlow Vault. It doesn’t replace 911: if you’re in danger, call emergency services too.
What is a verified photo?
A photo (or video) the app signs as it’s taken, with the time, the location and the network where it was taken. Anyone with the app can later check that not a single pixel has changed since. If your contacts are nearby, their phones can sign as witnesses.
How do I move a vault to another device?
If the other device is nearby, use “Send over Wi-Fi”: it goes directly, no internet needed. You can also share the .pvault file over AirDrop, Files or however you like; it stays encrypted on the way.
What does Pro include, what happens when the trial ends, and how do I cancel?
Pro is for creating and sending: new vaults, verified photos and videos, messages and transfers, and multiple devices. You get 14 free days to try it; then you continue with the monthly subscription or a one-time payment that lasts forever, both valid on every device of your Apple ID. If you don't continue, the app becomes read-only: you open, view and extract your vaults, and SOS and your circle always work. If you change phones or reinstall, go to Settings → Manage and tap “Restore purchases”. To cancel the subscription, open your iPhone's Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
I found a bug — how do I report it?
Write to us with three things: what you were doing when it happened, what you expected, and what happened instead. If you can, add a screenshot, your phone model and the app version (Settings → About) — that’s almost always enough to reproduce and fix it.
