What's new

What each version of FuaFlow Love Log for iPhone and iPad brings, newest first

Love Log keeps getting better. To stay up to date, update it from the App Store (or keep automatic updates on).

1.1.0 · October 23, 2026

  • Love Log is now free: everything, with no trial and no paywall. If you'd like to support it, Settings → Support Love Log has one-time tips and "Supporter", a tip every month. None of them unlock anything; in return, you get the Supporter badge.
  • Trips: with "Add trip", its moments (each one like a small date), bookings (flight, hotel, car, tour…), expenses against a budget, and photos by day or by place. A trip counts as a single date.
  • A new way to log a date: who you were with (several at once, plus your own), what happened (add your own, with or without an emoji), your own flags, "Was it special?" on its own, "How was the other person?" and "How was the plan?" with stars.
  • Faster date and time: shortcuts (Today, Yesterday, Saturday…) and, when you pick a day, the month's calendar right there.
  • Photos in the date form, and all of a person's photos on their profile, with "Go to the date".
  • Journal: mention someone with @ and choose how you feel with them. You'll see it on their profile and on the Dashboard ("How you feel with each person" and "Your journal this month").
  • One dictionary for everything you mark with a tap (who you were with, what happened, flags, special, feelings and your emojis): add, rename, hide or pin to the Dashboard, and find what was left "Not registered".
  • Stages and dates: "Engaged" and "Married", their birthday, when you met and your relationship dates. Their profile counts your time together ("2 years, 3 months and 12 days since you met") and reminds you of birthdays and anniversaries (and, if you like, of every month together).
  • More about each person: their other social networks (TikTok, X, Facebook, Snapchat, Telegram, Threads or one you name), where they live with the exact spot (your current location or one sent to you on WhatsApp) to open in your maps app, and their photo adjusted with "Move and Scale".
  • The cycle starts off when you add someone; once you know, "Log period" on their profile brings it up to date.
  • Pin up to 9 people to the top, in People and in the Journal.
  • Delete a date right from History. The Dashboard has Explore at the top, and Search also finds trips.
  • "How Love Log works", a guide to the whole app, and "See an example" on the welcome screen and in Settings.
  • More accessible: VoiceOver throughout the app (including the Calendar, day by day), easier-to-tap buttons, larger text, Reduce Motion and Differentiate Without Color.
  • Encrypt your backups and the copies you export with a password (Settings → Your Data → Encrypt Backups). On this device, Face ID or Touch ID opens them without typing it.
  • Siri, Shortcuts and Spotlight (iOS 16 or later): "Log a date in Love Log", "Schedule a date in Love Log" and "Write a note in Love Log".
  • The cycle and the Bananometer follow the person's gender.
  • Optimized for iPhone Duo, in the iOS 27 style.

1.0.1 · October 19, 2026

  • Tapping a reminder opens the date it's about, and reminders now show while the app is open.
  • Refreshed light theme: the top band is now red, with the time in white.
  • Restoring a backup brings back your dates with their photos and updates reminders to match. A backup that was cut off halfway no longer counts as the latest one.
  • When you import a copy, you see when it's from and how many photos it has; if it comes from a newer version, the app asks you to update.
  • Stronger App Lock: setting the clock back no longer skips it, turning it off asks for Face ID, it stays on when you move to a new iPhone, and while it's on, reminders don't show names.
  • "Keep history, anonymize" no longer leaves details that identify the person, not even in backups, and "Delete everything" also removes them from backups.
  • More precise reminders: milestones land on their calendar date, "How was your date?" arrives on time, and there are no more reminders about people who are paused, archived or ended.
  • Flags and the Dashboard no longer count each date twice.
  • If your subscription can't be confirmed because you've been offline for days, the app no longer shows the paywall: it asks you to connect, and meanwhile you can view and export your data.
  • With Finances turned off, "Repeat last date" no longer shows or copies the cost.
  • Easier to use with VoiceOver, and the privacy texts now match the published page.
  • If you go out again with someone who was paused, archived or ended, saving the date brings them back, and each person's journal keeps when you paused, archived or ended it.
  • More fixes: Intimacy and "My patterns" count correctly; entering 0 removes the budget; streaks and the cycle no longer shift with daylight saving time; "Delete person" is also on their profile, and copying a note keeps it only on this device for a minute.
  • Clearer charts: with many dates they read by week or month; for one person, how you arrive next to how you leave, and a sentence when something repeats. The Calendar colors each day by how you left and has a year view. Averages say how many dates they come from, Milestones groups what repeats, Flags show a weekly strip, Finances shows the charts first, and Compare includes people you're no longer seeing.
  • Optimizations: content fades under the bars, section titles are no longer all caps, options come out of the button you tap, the icon has dark and tinted versions, and the glass respects "Reduce Transparency" and "Increase Contrast".

1.0.0 · October 14, 2026
